❤ Balancing your chakras with affirmations
In Hindu and yogic traditions and other belief systems chakras are energy points connected to your physical body. Each one relates to different organs of your body, and different aspects of your being. When they are open and flowing, everything works in harmony. When they are closed you feel unwell, you may have disease or illness. The term chakra comes from Sanskrit – the ancient, sacred language of India – and means “spinning wheel”. It refers to the ever turning energy centers that are a part of your subtle or energetic body. Yogis and clairvoyant seers (people who can see energy and auras) describe chakras as spinning fans, lotus flowers, or suns of light stacked along the body.
One of the easiest ways to tell if your chakras are closed is to ask yourself how you feel. Are you experiencing fatigue? What about illness or depression? Each of the seven major chakras also corresponds to specific areas of the body. Take a self-inventory and listen to your body. If you discover that your chakras are closed, don’t worry. You can get them open and functioning properly once more. To open or balance a closed chakra we can simply repeat affirmations that correspond with the chakra in question. Our thoughts are very important to our well-being and if we train ourselves to think positive thoughts we can bring about an amazing change in how we feel.
I've listed affirmations for each of the 7 chakras. Find a quiet, peaceful spot to do some meditation exercises and repeat the affirmations. Do this for 10 to 15 minutes daily for about a week. Next time you check your chakra again, you should notice an improvement.
